Board of Directors
- Mr. Sha Guangwen is Non-Executive Chairman of the Company. Mr. Sha was redesignated from Executive Chairman to Non-Executive Chairman of the Company on 1 February 2011. Prior to his current position as Chairman, Mr. Sha was Executive Director and CEO of the Company. Currently, Mr. Sha is also non-executive director of SGX listed -Devotion Energy Group Ltd and Chairman of Rockstead Capital Private Limited, a boutique investment and fund management firm. He also was Executive Director of Asia Water Technology Ltd before joining the Company. In addition, Mr. Sha possesses many years of experience in managing capital investment and risk management. In the course of his investment and risk management work, he was appointed by various companies to oversee their operations. His past appointments saw him took up positions as, General Manager of Hainan Aisino Investment Co., Ltd, Heilongjiang Longdian Investment Co., Ltd, Deputy General Manager and subsequently General manager of Yangpu Tianhe Taifu Investment Co., Ltd, and also Chief Executive Officer of Hainan Bingang Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd. As of to-date, he no longer holds any executive roles in these companies. Mr. Sha holds two degrees in Economics and Literature from Heilongjiang University of Commerce and Harbin Normal University respectively.
- Mr. Xue Liang is Executive Vice Chairman of the Company. Mr. Xue sets overall business strategy and planning to the Group. Currently he is Non-executive Chairman of Yangpu Fudaxin Investment Co., Ltd and sits board of Xi’an Kaixin Enterprise Co., Ltd. He possesses many years of experience in company management and operations, fund raisings and investments. Prior to taking up his current position as Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Xue was director of Haikou Huihai Diandang Co., Ltd and General Manager of Yangpu Tianhefu Investment Co., Ltd. He holds degree in Harbin Business University, and obtained an Executive MBA from Cheung Kong Graduation School of Business.
- Mr. Tian Aimin is Executive Director and CEO of the Company. He oversees the overall management of the Group and its subsidiaries. Prior to his current position as Executive Director and CEO, Mr. Tian was Executive Vice President of the Company and Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Nari Technologies Co., Ltd and Changzhou Suyuan Electric Power Co., Ltd. His previous career stints also include working as an investment manager in Shenzhen Tianhe Taifu Investment Co., Ltd and a software architect in Harbin Institute of Technology University Industrial Information System. Mr. Tian, who was formerly a lecturer in Harbin Institute of Technology University, holds a Bachelor Degree in Management System and Master Degree in Management Information System from Harbin Institute of Technology University.
- Mr. Li Tianfei is Executive Director of the Company. He was formerly President of the Company. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Heilongjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd, a company listed in the Shanghai Stock Exchange and General Manager of Longdian Property Co., Ltd, a real estate development company. He has over 30 years of experience in the China Power industry, including Daqing Xinhua Power Plant and Harbin No. 3 Power plant. Mr. Li received his Master of the Science Degree in Technical Economic from Harbin Institute of Technology University.
- Mr. Ng Fook Ai, Victor is Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman of the Company. Mr. Ng is the Non- Executive Chairman of Devotion Energy Group Ltd, listed on Main Board of Singapore Exchange. He is founder and Executive Chairman of New Asia Assets Pte. Ltd, an investment company with its head quarters in Asia that is focused on investments in Greater China. Mr. Ng has been investing in Asia for over 20 years and in China since 1996. While being equipped a wealth of experience spanning across a range of industry sectors, Mr. Ng also has particular expertise in the energy, water and clean technology fields. Mr. Ng has founded and managed a number of China focused funds, including China Growth Opportunities Limited, a £50 million UK listed fund that focuses on private equity investment in China. Mr. Ng is a former Principal with KPMG Singapore and holds B.Sc (Econs) and M.Sc (Econs) from London University. In 1992, Mr. Ng was awarded the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Medal, Singapore — Community Services) for his social contributions by the President of the Republic of Singapore.

Mr. Joseph He Jun is Independent Director of the Company. Joseph He Jun co-heads the China Practice and is a Partner in both the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions and the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

His main practice areas are corporate finance, equity capital market, foreign investment in the mergers and acquisitions and property development in China.

Transactions of significance which Joseph has been involved in include acting for a Singapore Consortium to develop Sino- Singapore Tianjin Eco-city in Tianjin, China; acting for Raffles Education Limited ("REC") in its acquisition of Oriental University City Development Co., Ltd in Oriental University City.

Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Yunnan University (PRC) and obtained Masters of Law from both China University of Politics and Law in Beijing and McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific (U.S.). He was also a Visiting Scholar at the School of Law, Columbia University (U.S.) from 1990 to 1991. Joseph is admitted to the Bar of the People’s Republic of China.
- Mr. Xu Jianping is Independent Director of the Company. He is currently Chairman of Guangzhou China Land Property Co., Ltd and Managing Director of Hainan Qianjing Industrial Co., Ltd. Mr. Xu also sits on the Board of Hainan Qianjing Industrial Co., Ltd, Polytec Overseas Limited and Beijing HFL Investment Centre (LLP). In addition, Mr. Xu possesses many years of experience in company management and operations, property development and property investments. Mr. Xu holds an Executive MBA from Cheung Kong Graduation School of Business.
